It helps narrow down the search to a more manageable number of articles in exactly what the user is looking for. One helpful benefit revolves around its citation network, which tells the user how many times the article has been cited, all times cited counts, usage count, and a list of cited references. It also includes a results analysis, which helps break down the results of a search. A user can choose to rank record by certain fields to help narrow things down and pick and choose what he or she needs. This index makes it easy to search for articles and is a worthwhile addition to a university library.

Psychological tests are used all over the world to help determine everything from personality types to emotional states. With so many tests out there, it makes it important to determine the best tests for what the user needs. The Mental Measurements Yearbook gathers together reviews of these tests and lets users search for different tests. The latest one came out just this year. The tests are reviewed by at least one psychologist and usually have more than one review of that test. It did take a little bit to figure out how to use this resource, but after a while, it became easier. The search history is right on the first page and it allows the user to combine different searches together. While this is something that can be done with a Boolean operator in the search area, the search history makes it easier, especially if the user want to combine (with AND or OR) search results. One can also browse through the different journals available. This is a great resource that is important for academic libraries.
